Winter 2027 Accounting Internship

Responsibilities

• Gain a basic understanding of accounting skills, including tax preparation, audits, and engagements while using CCH Engagement and CCH Axcess
• On real year-end client work (trial balances, journal entries, work papers, etc.)
• Collaborate with all levels of the firm, from associate to partner
• Weekly exposure to team members from associate through partner level, with opportunities to hear career stories and gain real-world advice
• Dedicated “buddy” pairing for guidance, support, and day-to-day connection
• Attend fun intern mixers to build relationships with peers across the firm
• Participate in firm-wide events

Requirements

• Sophomore, junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related major
• Preferred GPA of 3.0 and above
• Strong initiative, organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the firm
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications
• Knowledge of financial software applications (ie. QuickBooks) is a plus, but not required
• Mets firm standards for attendance, punctuality, and work deadlines

Pay

$24-$26/hour

Internship Length

January 18, 2027 - April 15, 2027 Approximately 3 months
