About the role

The Wine & Beer Team Member plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional Customer Service while supporting all daily operations within the department.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding Customer Service through friendly, informed, and helpful interactions.
• Stock and rotate product in all wine and beer displays, coolers, and end caps.
• Maintain backstock organization and assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
• Ensure accurate signage, pricing, and promotional display execution.
• Build, face, and maintain compelling displays that align with department goals.
• Absorb inventory counts and communicate low or out-of-stock items to the Buyer or leadership team.
• Support fellow Team Members by collaborating on tasks and sharing product knowledge.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the department, including shelves, floors, and storage areas.
• Follow all Plum Market policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Enthusiasm for wine and beer, and a desire to learn more.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-directed with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for up to 4 hours without a break.
• Ability to bend and stoop to grasp objects, climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, and push/pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs. unassisted.

Pay

Competitive holiday pay of time and a half for working on five federally recognized holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving.
