Window Treatments Interior Designer

Job Roles and Responsibilities Meet with clients to understand design preferences, functional needs, and project budgets.Develop customized window treatment design plans.Recommend appropriate fabrics, materials, colors, hardware, and window covering styles.Apply color theory and lighting principles to create aesthetically pleasing interiors.Prepare design concepts and presentations.Coordinate project schedules from consultation through installation.Work with vendors, installers, and contractors to ensure timely project completion.Manage project budgets and procurement activities.Ensure quality standards throughout project execution.Stay current with interior design trends, materials, and window treatment innovations.Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships. Qualifications And Certifications Proven experience in interior design, preferably with window treatments, remodeling, or lighting design.Strong knowledge of color theory and interior design principles.Experience with drafting techniques and CAD software.Understanding of construction practices and installation processes.Excellent project management and organizational skills.Strong communication and client relationship management abilities.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Degree or certification in Interior Design is preferred.NCIDQ certification is a plus but not required.
