Window and Door Service Technician / Non CDL Driver (17)

ABC Supply, the nation’s largest distributor of exterior and interior building products, is seeking an experienced Window and Door Service Technician. In this role, you will transport, remove, and replace broken windows and doors while ensuring the safety of each delivery from departure to job completion. Responsibilities

• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Deliver product in non-CDL required vehicles
• Use a variety of hand tools to remove and replace window materials
• Conduct a safe work zone during each job site
• Adhere to assigned delivery schedule and follow all job directives precisely
• Document every step of each delivery by taking and uploading photos with our camera phone system
• Provide warehouse support as needed, including loading and unloading materials
• Complete a thorough load check on your truck before leaving the branch, ensuring all delivery materials are firmly secured and all parts of your truck comply with federal, state, and local regulations
• Complete and file all logs and required government paperwork in a precise and timely manner
• Provide the customer with an invoice on completion of each delivery and collect the entire due amount on COD deliveries

This position does not require over-the-road travel or a CDL.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License and Medical Card
• 2 years’ experience in removing and replacing broken glass and doors (preferred)
• Window and/or door experience (product knowledge, quoting, and ordering preferred)
• The ability to lift 75-100 pounds
• Forklift experience is a plus (training provided if necessary)
• Box truck experience (preferred)
• Pre-employment and random drug screens are required
