Windchill Senior System Consultant - W2 Only

About the Role

This hybrid position in Stamford, Connecticut focuses on Windchill CAD integration, solution design, and system architecture for Windchill implementations, upgrades, and integrations. The role involves aligning Windchill solutions with business goals and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Define high-level and detailed architecture for Windchill implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
• Set up CAD workers for Windchill environments, including Creo and Office Worker.
• Configure Windchill architecture, including CAD integrations, vault configurations, and cluster setups.
• Handle SSO and SSL configuration.
• Plan and execute Windchill upgrades, including rehearsals on lower environments.
• Document all upgrade steps and prepare a detailed runbook for production.
• Execute the final upgrade on the production environment.
• Run WinDU, analyze results, and resolve issues reported during upgrade rehearsals.
• Lead development of workflows, object models, and system configurations.
• Integrate Windchill with ERP (SAP ECC/S4), MES, CPQ, and CAD platforms.
• Oversee end-to-end implementation, including configuration, testing, deployment, and optimization.
• Manage risk, stakeholder communication, and project governance.
• Mentor junior developers and ensure adherence to coding and testing standards.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for system architecture and customizations.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Windchill architecture, including CAD integrations, vault configurations, and cluster setups.
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE, SQL, Spring, Hibernate, and Windchill modules (PDMLink, ProjectLink, PartsLink).
• Experience with Windchill Bulk Migration, ESI integration, and performance tuning.
