Windchill Interface Specialist

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate integrations connecting PTC Windchill with ERP, MES, CAD, and other engineering and manufacturing systems.
• Own the technical integration layer between Windchill and the broader enterprise systems landscape.
• Work closely with cross‑functional partners (product, design, engineering, operations, business stakeholders) to translate ambiguous requirements into well‑engineered solutions.
• Raise the bar through code review, design review, and mentorship of more junior engineers.
• Ship meaningful work that holds up well in production, demonstrating strong engineering discipline and clear communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of PLM integration experience with a strong focus on Windchill.
• Hands‑on experience with Info*Engine and Windchill Java API.
• Experience designing PLM‑to‑ERP integrations (SAP, Oracle).
• Working knowledge of CAD integration patterns.
• Experience with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, OIC, or SAP CPI.
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Windchill data model.
• Experience with REST and SOAP web services.
• Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• 6+ years of overall experience (as indicated).

Qualifications

• PTC Windchill certifications.
• Experience with ThingWorx or IIoT integration.
• Exposure to API management platforms.
• Familiarity with event‑driven and Kafka‑based integration patterns.
• Experience operating Windchill in the cloud.

Pay

Salary range: $115,000–$135,000 annually.
