Windchill Functional consultant

What's the Job?

Lead process mapping and functional design across Engineering, Change Control, Document Control, Configuration Management, and Manufacturing collaboration.
Define functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and traceability matrices aligned to PLM strategy.
Design Windchill+ configurations including lifecycles, workflows, soft types, attributes, UI policies, classification, and search functionalities.
Facilitate design workshops, perform fit-gap analysis, and harmonize best practices across multiple sites and business units.
Define roles, ACLs, contexts, and policies to support data governance and compliance standards.

What's Needed?

• Engineering degree with over 10 years of experience in PLM functional consulting, focusing on Windchill/Windchill+ implementations.
• Proven experience with process mapping and delivering to-be PLM operating models.
• Hands-on involvement in Windchill/Windchill+ projects, including greenfield or major transformation initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of CAD integrations, especially Creo, SolidWorks, NX, or AutoCAD.
• Deep understanding of WTParts, CAD Data Management, Document Control, Change Management, Lifecycles, Workflows, Classification, Search, and Visualization tools.
