About the role
Climb and service utility-scale wind turbines across an offshore array, performing scheduled gearbox inspections, blade pitch calibration, yaw drive lubrication, and hydraulic brake maintenance at height. The role mixes planned preventive maintenance with unplanned call-outs when the SCADA system flags an alarm. You will coordinate lifts and isolations with the control room before any work begins.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot pitch and converter faults from the nacelle
- Torque foundation bolts to specification
- Replace worn slip rings and filters
- Document every work order in the asset management system
Requirements
- GWO Working at Heights certification
- GWO Sea Survival certification
- Rope-access proficiency
- Offshore medical clearance
- Comfort working ninety meters above open water in changing weather
Schedule
Two-week rotations crewed from a service operations vessel.
