About the role
Become a Wilderness and Canoe Guide with Liquid Alaska Tours for our 2027 season!
Responsibilities
- Lead guided tours on wilderness and canoe trips
- Ensure safety and emergency preparedness
- Provide instruction and support to clients
- Operate boats and equipment safely
Requirements
- Wilderness First Responder (WFR) Certification
- Age 21 or older
- Valid driver’s license
- No major driving violations or DWI/DUIs in the past five years
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Qualifications
- Safety certifications such as Swift/Cold Water Rescue, Crevasse/Ropes Rescue, Kayak/Canoe Instructor, CDL/Professional Driver's License, Professional Mountaineering Guide, Professional Watersports Guide, Professional Glacier Guide, or Alaskan Wilderness Guide
- Experience in wilderness and canoe guiding
- Strong communication and leadership skills

- First aid and CPR

This is a full-season position running April 19 – September 30, 2027. We are only able to hire guides who can commit to the entire season — including the April 19 start date. We are not able to accommodate late starts.
