About the role

We’re looking for a creative web designer to build the digital home for a brand-new sapphic bar in Denver. Our aesthetic is 1970s queer nightlife meets disco glamour meets animal print—think leopard, velvet, camp, copious chandeliers, and a healthy amount of tackiness. We need someone who can translate that identity into a beautiful, functional, modern website that feels like an extension of the physical space.

Responsibilities

• Design a responsive, mobile-friendly website that embodies the bar’s 1970s queer nightlife and disco-glamour aesthetic
• Deliver ongoing edits and updates to the site for a stipend after the initial launch

Requirements

• Strong web/UI/UX design skills
• Experience with hospitality, nightlife, fashion, or creative brands
• Excellent visual and typography skills
• Responsive/mobile design experience
• A strong portfolio
• An appreciation for queer culture and 1970s aesthetics
• Ability to create something bold, sexy, playful, and polished
