About the role
The Wholesale Associate Planner (Value Channel) supports all activities associated with managing financial, demand, and inventory management for the Wholesale Value business across multiple brands. This role provides support to sales and other cross-functional teams by establishing process and analytical tools to drive an efficient and profitable business, playing a key role in cash flow optimization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate business agility and strategic thinking, leveraging internal and external data to make fact-based decisions.
Responsibilities
- Manage the planning functions for all Cuts/Discounters accounts.
- Own the reporting of inventory as it relates to the status to fill customer purchase orders (WIP risk reports) and ATS management.
- Maintain all weekly reporting and recaps.
- Proactively develop ad-hoc analytical reports and tools to meet the changing needs of the business.
- Prepare key analysis for the sales team, including strategic recommendations to maximize sales and profitability.
- Create market buy tools and place market buys with production.
- Monitor vendor purchase orders to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Compile hindsight reporting for use in future planning and forecasting.
- Establish strong partnerships with Merchandising, Production, Customer Service, POD, and the Sales team.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
- 4+ years of planning, forecasting, or other relevant analytical roles within the industry.
- Wholesale experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Merchandising, Business, or Finance).
- Advanced business knowledge of merchandising and forecasting concepts with an understanding of their operational and financial impacts.
- Ability to utilize retail math skills to analyze and drive business.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
- Result-oriented and self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency.
- Proactive, adaptable to changing demands, and able to multi-task and prioritize initiatives.
- Robust problem-solving, analytical, and data management skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining superior accuracy.
- Thrives in a dynamic environment and approaches complex issues with creative solutions.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact effectively with multiple levels.
- Adhere to regular in-office presence for team interaction, meetings, and collaboration.
- Must have authorization to work in the United States.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
- Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other standards.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours per day.
- Ability to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment, and look at a monitor for up to 8 hours per day.
- Ability to clearly and accurately communicate and exchange information verbally, in writing, or through other means (in person, telephonically, or virtually).
- Ability to position self to reach at or below shoulder level.

Pay
USD $62,700.00 - USD $114,000.00 per year.
