About the Role

The Wholesale Operations & Business Analytics Associate is responsible for working with the Manager of Signature and others in the department to assist with managing inventory, purchase orders, returns, credits, and account service requests across all Signature Accounts. This position is critical to integrate a variety of functions at Lilly Pulitzer.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on the triangulation of sales, fulfillment, order management, and margin to drive sales and gross profit.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of company inventory and product.
  • Work with the Manager of Signature to manage product shipments and orders to appropriate distribution channels to achieve sales targets and optimize gross profit.
  • Interact with the Fulfillment Center team on shipping issues, including attending weekly shipping meetings, monitoring seasonal changes to shipping priority, and communicating non-standard shipping requests.
  • Provide visibility into total company inventory through weekly reporting.
  • Perform order maintenance functions for all Signature accounts, including re-allocation of units, transit day and lead time changes, and reorder entry.
  • Serve as the liaison to communicate operational and merchandise information to distribution teams, including shipping schedules, fast tracks, and inventory updates.
  • Own the setup of new Signature accounts upon receipt of a completed credit application and signed terms agreement.
  • Set up new term codes for non-standard selling terms as approved.
  • Apply credits to Signature accounts’ open balances, including revenue share credits and corporate gift card redemption credits.
  • Use Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) to upload orders, process POs timely, review POs for variances, and ensure reconciliation before releasing POs.
  • Analyze and roll up monthly and seasonal bookings performance for Signature accounts.
  • Prepare and report OTB (Open-to-Buy) for upcoming market and track results.
  • Monitor performance against sales plans and key performance indicators for Signature accounts.
  • Relay important style opportunities to key partners.
  • Support in-market and pre-market initiatives, including tracking special orders and requests from Signature accounts.
  • Play a large role in planning market for Signature Stores.
  • Perform duties outside the listed functions as needed.

Requirements

  • A four-year college degree is preferred.
  • 2–3 years of experience in Wholesale Operations, Inventory Management, Order Operations, or similar apparel industry roles.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams and influencing outcomes.
  • Systems-oriented mindset is preferred.

Schedule

This position is classified as full-time salaried and exempt. It requires a structured hybrid work schedule based out of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, including both office and home office work. Some domestic travel to retail stores is required. Flexible, additional working hours may be needed during peak periods.
