About the role

The Wholesale Credit Delivery Associates and Analysts facilitate financial analysis, risk assessment, and credit structure recommendations for clients and prospects in Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, and/or Wealth specialty businesses. They take ownership of projects, mentor more junior teammates, and ensure adherence to credit policies and requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates the diligence and underwriting documentation of less complex and smaller credit relationships.
  • Supports credit presentation preparation and discussions with Credit Officers and other final approvers.
  • Captures and documents client performance, identifies and addresses risk and risk mitigants.
  • Coordinates legal documentation efforts through closing and funding phases.
  • Ensures loan agreements align with approved documents and identifies and addresses issues.
  • Supports and mentors Credit Delivery Analysts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 2-3 years of Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, or Wealth Specialty business experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of commercial real estate credit delivery principles.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities under time constraints.
  • Demonstrated success working in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

  • Master’s in Commercial Banking or Real Estate or combined Commercial Banking/Commercial Real Estate experience through internships or other experiences; or an equivalent combination of educational and experience or other related advanced degree.
  • 2 years of experience in a Commercial Banking or Commercial Real Estate Associate Development Program and/or equivalent experience in a Credit Delivery role.

Skills

Knowledge of commercial real estate credit delivery principles, analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in basic computer applications.
