Responsibilities

  • Respond to operation and dispatch requests.
  • Use necessary tools, maps and addresses to efficiently transport customers.
  • Clearly document trip information details and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a safe and clean vehicle environment for patients.
  • Complete the regular mechanical checklist at the start of shifts and report any vehicle issues.
  • Use appropriate communication methods including standard radio transmission codes.
  • Operate transportation equipment including stretcher, hydraulic lift, wheelchair.
  • Manage disposal of supplies as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively and professionally with allied health and public safety personnel.

Requirements

  • State Driver’s License
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • CPR card
  • Driving record in compliance with company policy
  • Pass Physical Agility Test

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of work experience, preferably in healthcare.

  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to operate specialized transportation equipment

Hourly rates starting at $14.00+ DOE
