Wheelchair Van Driver - Casual hours

Locations: Tarentum & Lower Burrell, PA

Schedule

Casual hours, 8 hours minimum per month. Hours fall during Monday–Friday.

Pay

$16.50–$18 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Transport older adults to and from the day center and their residence.
• Transport participants to outside appointments and activities as requested by the Transportation Supervisor.
• Deliver medical equipment and supplies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous transportation, medical equipment, and/or supply experience, including transporting individuals with special mobility needs.
• Prior experience in the geriatric field helpful.
• Five years of driving experience.
• Valid PA Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Must pass DOT physical and be able to meet DOT physical requirements.
• Must pass random quarterly drug and alcohol testing for compliance with the organization’s drug and alcohol-free workplace policy.
