About the Role

Applications are now being accepted for a Wheelchair Basketball Assistant Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a Winter position with a Scale 8 salary range of $2,118.00 - $4,163.00, paid in 2 installments.

Requirements

• Possess a valid Ohio Certificate/License/Permit in the appropriate area.
• Obtain proper athletic certification, which can be submitted with your application if complete. Applicants who are not yet certified may still apply.
• Complete the Coaches' Tool Chest certification, which includes Fundamentals of Coaching, First Aid for Coaches, Concussion Training, CPR Training, and Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training. • Apply for or submit a Pupil Activity Permit (PAP) through the Ohio Department of Education. The price varies depending on the length of the permit, typically 3 or 5 years. Create an OH-ID login if you do not already have one. For details, visit ODE Coaching Permits.
