Role Purpose

The Wheelchair Agent is responsible for assisting passengers with mobility needs throughout the airport terminal in a safe, courteous, and professional manner. This role provides wheelchair transportation and customer support to ensure passengers receive timely assistance from check-in through boarding, connections, arrival, and baggage claim.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Aid passengers requiring wheelchair or mobility assistance throughout the airport
  • Transport passengers safely between ticket counters, security checkpoints, gates, baggage claim, and connecting flights
  • Aid elderly passengers, individuals with disabilities, and travelers requiring special assistance
  • Handle wheelchairs and mobility equipment safely and properly
  • Cookordination with gate agents, airline staff, and airport personnel to ensure timely passenger assistance
  • Aid with light baggage handling when necessary
  • Perform other duties as requested

What We Are Looking For

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check
