WGT (Wireless Glove Tester) Technician

Function Specific Tasks

• Carry out routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on WGT’s
• Support IQ/OQ and PD/PQ activities at SKAN US and customer sites
• Collaborate with colleagues to resolve technical issues and promote a culture of continuous improvement
• Stay informed about the latest WGT testing technologies and best practices through training and self-study to comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Implement corrective actions with assistance to address deviations and maintain quality standards
• Work with customers to ensure continuity in repairs and maintenance
• Travel 60% average, including international travel if field-based, 50% average if based in Raleigh
• Set and track personal goals
• Participate in and conduct WGT trainings as necessary
• Perform WGT troubleshooting onsite or remotely
• Offer support to the Metrology department as needed

Qualifications Needed

• Previous experience in a customer service role preferred
• Experience in pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industries preferred
• Background in Mechanical or Electrical discipline required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for project coordination, problem-solving, and resource management
• Interest in technology and intellectual curiosity
• Excellent organizational and proactive management skills
• Strong leadership abilities
• Ability to make decisions under pressure
• Proficiency in MS Project, MS Excel, MS Visio, and SAP
• A customer-oriented attitude and strong service mindset
• High intelligence and mental flexibility to handle multiple tasks and priorities

Pay Range

$55,000 – $72,000
