About the Role
As a Manager specializing in Workforce Planning (WFM), you will lead the design and delivery of enterprise planning solutions that help organizations improve workforce operations, planning accuracy, and business performance. This role combines deep Anaplan architecture expertise with Workforce Management consulting, enabling clients to modernize planning processes across complex operational environments.
Responsibilities
- Enterprise Solution Architecture
- Architect scalable Anaplan Workforce Planning solutions using both Classic and Polaris engines.
- Design enterprise planning architectures, including data models, integrations, governance, and user experience.
- Optimize model performance, hierarchy structures, and data hubs to ensure scalable, sustainable solutions.
- Guide architecture decisions that align planning capabilities with long-term business objectives.
- Workforce Planning & Business Transformation
- Advise clients on Workforce Management processes including forecasting, staffing, scheduling, supplier management, performance measurement, and capacity planning.
- Assess current operating models, identify improvement opportunities, and redesign planning processes for greater efficiency and scalability.
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate strategic planning requirements into connected planning solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor throughout planning transformation initiatives, helping clients mature their Connected Planning capabilities.
- Solution Delivery & Client Leadership
- Lead solution design, data mapping, model development, testing, deployment, and user adoption activities.
- Facilitate workshops, design reviews, validation sessions, and executive presentations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop enablement materials, training programs, and change management activities to support successful adoption.
- Identify project risks, requirement gaps, and technical challenges while driving successful delivery outcomes.
- Support pre-sales engagements through demonstrations, proofs of concept, and solution presentations.
- Technical Leadership & Continuous Improvement
- Mentor consultants and model builders while promoting Anaplan Way best practices and modeling standards.
- Evaluate and implement emerging Anaplan capabilities, including AI-powered planning features such as Co-Planner, Co-Builder, Forecaster, and Data Orchestrator.
- Continuously improve existing implementations through performance tuning, architectural enhancements, and governance recommendations.
- Foster knowledge sharing across delivery teams to strengthen Anaplan expertise throughout the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Information Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 7 years of consulting or industry experience in enterprise planning, Workforce Management, or related functional leadership roles.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience delivering Anaplan Performance Management solutions.
- Certified Anaplan Solution Architect and/or Master Anaplanner preferred.
Skills
- Deep expertise designing enterprise Anaplan models using both Classic and Polaris calculation engines.
- Strong Workforce Management knowledge covering forecasting, staffing models, scheduling, intraday management, quality, and performance measurement.
- Experience designing connected planning solutions integrating ERP, HCM, CRM, and enterprise data platforms.
- Advanced knowledge of model optimization, hierarchy management, data hubs, governance, and enterprise architecture.
- Experience leading requirements gathering, process mapping, user stories, user journeys, and solution design workshops.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex operational challenges into scalable planning solutions.
- Experience improving user experience and usability within enterprise planning applications.
- Excellent English communication skills with experience presenting to both business and executive stakeholders.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with Trust & Safety operations or large-scale support organizations.
- Experience with Verint, Calabrio, or other Workforce Management platforms.
- Familiarity with AI-driven forecasting, predictive analytics, and machine learning-enabled planning.
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
- Knowledge of Anaplan Optimizer, Forecaster, and Data Orchestrator.
- Experience supporting enterprise digital transformation or planning modernization initiatives.
