About the Opportunity

The Remote Procurement Coordinator supports the organization's operational needs by managing the procurement of materials for various construction projects. This role is responsible for sourcing and coordinating material deliveries to maintain supply chain efficiency, helping to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Identify, vet, and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors for construction materials.
• Source materials and equipment, evaluate quotes, and negotiate pricing and contract terms.
• Prepare and process purchase orders with accurate documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers and site teams on material requirements and delivery timelines.
• Track orders from placement through delivery, resolving potential delays or issues.
• Maintain organized records of procurement activities including purchases and supplier information.
• Ensure procured materials meet quality standards and project specifications.
• Assist in managing inventory levels and logistics to avoid project disruptions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles, preferably in construction.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and familiarity with procurement software.
• Understanding of supply chain management principles.
• Knowledge of construction materials and supplier networks is advantageous.

Pay

Salary range is $30.00 to $75.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
