Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up equipment for league play and practices (volleyballs, nets set at correct heights, etc.)
• Manage and communicate with coaches to ensure practices and games are properly organized.
• Create practice plans and relay them to coaches for effective practice sessions.
• Supervise and interact with players during practices and games, providing guidance and encouragement.
• Ensure timely start and finish for all games, adhering to league schedules.
• Perform light cleanup of the play area and return equipment to storage after practices and games.
• Maintain a positive, supportive, and fun environment for all participants.

Volleyball Knowledge

• Familiarity with volleyball rules and basic refereeing experience.

Coaching Skills

• Ability to lead and motivate young athletes in a positive and engaging way.

Communication

• Strong communication skills for interacting with players, parents, and the League Coordinator.

Minimum Qualifications

• Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years old.
• Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills; ability to work with youth and coach effectively.
• Experience: Previous volleyball experience (playing or officiating) and familiarity with High School and USA Volleyball standards are required.
• Knowledge: A solid understanding of volleyball fundamentals and the ability to create and implement practice plans.
