Job Summary

Join our team at Amazing Athletes JumpBunch of Southern CT as a Youth Sports Coach for toddlers and preschoolers. We are currently hiring for school year/year round positions with the goal of starting training in early/mid August.

About the Role

Teach children ages 18 months to 6 years the basic fundamentals of various sports in a fun and non-competitive environment. Encourage healthy habits and build confidence in young athletes while ensuring they have a great time.

Responsibilities

• Teach basic fundamentals of various sports to children aged 18 months to 6 years
• Create a fun and non-competitive environment for learning
• Encourage healthy habits and build confidence in young athletes
• Ensure children have a great time during classes
• Work with parents, teachers, and staff at daycare/preschool locations to maintain positive relationships

Requirements

• Reliable to work a set schedule, but can be flexible on the days of the week
• Experience working with toddlers and preschool-aged children (professional experience is preferred but not mandatory)
• A positive attitude and a love for sports and teaching young children
• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a clean criminal background check
• Must have reliable transportation for traveling to different locations within the community
• Long distance travel will be reimbursed
• CPR certification is a plus, though not required

Benefits

• Training pay: $17.00 per hour
• Fully trained pay: $21.00 per hour
• At least 1.5 hours of minimum pay each time they work
