Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and/or trailers
• Properly secure loads in accordance with state/federal regulations and safety practices
• Lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
• Assist with warehouse and yard inventory responsibilities
• Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment (e.g., gas, oil, tires, brakes, lights)
• Verify inventory loads against shipping papers
• Submit receipts and money received from deliveries
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
• Report delays, accidents, or other traffic situations to base or other vehicles
• Handle unexpected situations (e.g., traffic, weather) with adaptability and foresight
• Maintain company gas card, vehicle registration, proof of insurance, and ensure Driver License and Medical Certificate are current and on person while driving
• Interact with customers, provide excellent customer service, and enjoy the work environment

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license; CDL required
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no DUI/DWI citations in the previous 5 years
• Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and functional screen
• Consent to a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
• Adaptability to handle unexpected situations (e.g., traffic, weather)

Pay

From $22.00 per hour

Compensation & Benefits

• $1,000 (~$2.00/hr) Quarterly Safety Bonus Program (increases with seniority)
• Annual merit increases
• Delivery routes with multiple stops (100–500 mile driving radius from the branch)

Time Off

• 20 days in your first year: 10 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) (increases after year 1) and 10 days of Paid Company Holidays
