West Jordan Residential Garbage Truck Driver (CDL Required)

About the role

Ace Disposal is hiring Residential truck drivers for Salt Lake County. Drivers pick up residential waste and recycling cans, transport materials for proper disposal, follow company schedules and policies, and interact courteously with customers and the public.

Responsibilities

• Collect residential waste and recycling according to the delivery and collection schedule.
• Operate waste and recycling trucks safely and efficiently.
• Communicate with Supervisor and Dispatch via mobile tablet (send messages, attach photos, report route interruptions).
• Maintain daily records through reading, writing, and tablet operation.
• Perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, sitting, standing, and walking to complete duties.

Requirements

• Current Class A or Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement.
• Minimum 6 months of commercial vehicle driving experience.
• Clean driving record (no DUI’s).
• Ability to operate a mobile tablet for communication and reporting.

Pay

Starting pay is $24.00 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule

Start time is 6:00 AM.
