Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction aligned to student IEP goals and grade-level standards.
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and student progress.
- Participate in Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meetings and collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams.
- Implement accommodations, modifications, and evidence-based instructional practices.
- Support inclusive educational practices and collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers.
- Utilize assessment data to inform instruction and intervention.
- Foster a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment.
- Supervise and collaborate with paraprofessionals as assigned.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all federal, state, and district special education requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by administration.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of special education instructional practices, assessment, and progress monitoring.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to meeting the needs of diverse learners.
- Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
