Werkstudent (m/w/d) – Generative AI, Agentic Systems & Automatisierung

Overview

We are a growing AI startup focused on Generative AI, Agentic Systems, AI chatbots, and multimodal applications. We continuously develop our technical infrastructure, tools, and processes as a young company. As a Werkstudent, you work closely with our team on various technical issues, not confined to a defined role but rather involved in new ideas and operational challenges that arise in a startup.

Responsibilities

• Supporting our team broadly in technical questions, focusing on AI and automation topics.
• Typical areas of involvement may include:
• Development and integration of AI-supported video creation (e.g., text-to-video, AI avatars, voice-over, automated clips)
• Making contributions to generative AI and agentic AI systems (LLMs, RAG, tool-calling, workflows, chatbots, voicebots)
• Conceptualizing, prototyping, and optimizing AI workflows (text, audio, video, multimodal)
• General technical matters (startup-specific)
• Supporting internal technical topics (tools, automations, scripts, setups)
• Participating in backend logic, APIs, and technical integrations
• Supporting the selection, setup, or optimization of software tools and workflows
• Providing technical support for internal projects, demos, or customer inquiries
• Any task that is technically feasible and can be automated, improved, or documented

Requirements

• Currently enrolled student (m/w/d), ideally in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related fields.
• Very good knowledge in Python; a solid understanding of the AI field beyond technical basics.
• Interest in generative AI, but also openness to other technical topics.
• A structured, pragmatic working style and high initiative.
• Great English and German skills.
• Willingness to occasionally work at the office in Bochum or Düsseldorf if needed.
