Around the Role
We are looking for an engaged student to support our team in product development at The Ocean Package. As a Product Development Student, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in a fast-growing startup company and actively contribute to the development of sustainable packaging solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support in the development and optimization of our multi-use packaging
- Conduct market and trend analyses to generate new product ideas
- Participation in the creation of technical drawings and specifications
- Support in coordinating prototype building and product testing
- Collaboration with other departments such as procurement and production to ensure the implementation of product development
- Execution of quality control and improvement measures on existing products
- Participation in the documentation and reporting of product development processes
Requirements
- Enrolled student in engineering, design, materials science, or a similar field
- Passion for product development and sustainability
- Good technical understanding and ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Experience with CAD software is advantageous but not mandatory
- Good written and spoken German and English
- Teamwork, initiative, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment

As a Product Development Student, you can work up to 20 hours per week during the semester. During the summer holidays, there is the possibility to work full-time.
