Wellness Veterinarian - Independent Contractor

We are seeking experienced contract wellness veterinarians. We offer a fast-paced career providing basic essential services to pets in need. Some travel in the metroplex may be required.

Responsibilities

• Vaccinate pets in a high-volume setting; perfect your craft
• Provide oversight to veterinary assistants
• Prescribe flea/tick prevention
• Draw blood for heartworm testing and FIV/Felv testing
• Prescribe heartworm prevention (following negative test at our clinic)
• Draw up vaccines when needed
• Perform cursory exams to ensure pets are healthy enough for vaccines

Requirements

• Must be a licensed veterinarian in the state of Texas.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and have reliable transportation.
• Must have Professional Liability Insurance.

About the Organization
