What You'll Do

Clinical Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, mentor, and support Wellness team members
  • Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, train, and retain top talent
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and development
  • Foster employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives
  • Monitor required licenses, certifications, and training compliance
  • Serve as Manager on Duty in the Executive Director's absence

Resident Care & Family Support

  • Oversee the delivery and coordination of resident care services
  • Conduct assessments for prospective residents to determine appropriate levels of care
  • Coordinate resident and family care conferences
  • Partner with physicians, healthcare providers, residents, and families to ensure continuity of care
  • Support occupancy goals through resident assessments, tours, and family consultations
  • Serve as a trusted clinical resource and advocate for residents

Medication Management & Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with state regulations, company policies, and reporting requirements
  • Oversee medication administration practices and documentation accuracy
  • Supervise Medication Aide programs and competency assessments where applicable
  • Investigate incidents, concerns, complaints, and grievances
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, emergency preparedness, and quality assurance standards
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident, employee, and organizational information

Operational Partnership

  • Collaborate with the Executive Director and Regional Wellness Director on staffing, budgeting, equipment, and operational initiatives
  • Provide ongoing communication and leadership updates
  • Support strategic goals that enhance resident satisfaction and community performance

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Current, active LPN or RN license
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership or management experience in healthcare, senior living, assisted living, memory care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or a related service environment
  • Strong understanding of the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of older adults
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable transportation for occasional off-site resident assessments
  • Ability to participate in rotating or as-needed 24/7 on-call clinical support
  • Ability to successfully complete required background screening, drug screening, TB testing, and physical examination

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Senior Living
  • Experience supporting residents living with dementia or cognitive impairment
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Physical Requirements

  • Stand, walk, bend, stretch, pull, push, and lift as needed
  • Assist with resident activities of daily living when necessary
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, team members, and healthcare professionals
  • Perform duties requiring close vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
