Wellness Associate - Part Time

About the role

Our next part-time Wellness Associate will provide compassionate, friendly, and professional customer service to patients, caregivers, and customers. You’ll assist with cannabis recommendations, including product selection, effects, potency, dosing, methods of consumption, and administration.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients, caregivers, and customers with cannabis recommendations through product selection, effects, potency, dosing, methods of consumption, and administration
• Manage patient records through systems
• Maintain thorough product knowledge and address concerns or questions promptly, referring to dispensary healthcare practitioners or management when appropriate
• Maintain knowledge of state regulatory requirements and guidelines
• Provide excellent customer service, including interpersonal habits (e.g., greeting, eye contact, courtesy) while ensuring patient/customer confidentiality and security
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, caregivers, and customers by anticipating needs
• Follow established policies and procedures for customer service, staff management, patient and visitor management, inventory management, cash handling, state compliance, and safety and security guidelines
• Complete the required state-mandated training program
• Perform any other tasks assigned by management

Requirements

• Must meet state age requirements as determined by the Department of Health or State Regulatory Commission
• At least one (1) year of customer service, retail, or related experience preferred
• Cannabis experience a plus
• Must be flexible regarding work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work well within a team environment

• Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus

As a condition of employment, a complete background investigation will be conducted based on state rules, including state and federal background checks.

Schedule

This on-site position in Nottingham, MD requires availability during nights, weekends, and some holidays. Our hours of operation are 9 AM – 9 PM, 7 days a week.

Pay

$16/hour, plus tips.
