We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Wellness Associates / Caregivers / CNAs to join our team in Assisted Living and Memory Care. Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, assistance, and companionship to residents
- Support with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility
- Assist with meals and encourage healthy hydration and nutrition
- Foster meaningful connections that bring comfort and joy to residents
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ health or behavior to the care team
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming community environment
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility if needed
- Maintain awareness of each resident’s general state of physical and mental health and report any changes immediately
- Keep an inventory of medical supplies and assist with ordering when necessary
- Assist with finding shift coverage for unexpected call-outs
- Develop and help maintain assignments for the Wellness Director
- Assist in orienting and on-boarding new Wellness Associates
- Respond to resident emergencies, provide first-aid, and arrange for appropriate medical follow-up
- Assist residents in keeping their units clean, neat, and orderly
- Answer calls for assistance and attend to resident needs promptly
- Assist residents with clothing and laundry needs if instructed
- Assist with meal selection, service, and feeding as assigned
- Support the activity program as assigned
- Maintain records according to policy and keep files as needed
- Participate in a minimum of 6 hours of in-service education per year
- Carry out other duties as assigned
Requirements
- A caring and patient heart with a strong commitment to serving seniors
- Previous experience as a caregiver, wellness associate, or CNA preferred (training provided)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Reliability and flexibility to meet the needs of residents
- Current State Nurse’s Aide registration preferred but not required
- Experience and passion for working with seniors
- Able to perform physically demanding tasks such as pushing, bending, and lifting up to 60 pounds
- Able to maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, peers, and staff
- Good physical and emotional health, free of communicable diseases
- Physically able to bend, reach, push, pull, and stand for extended periods
- May be required to use a Hoyer Lift

Schedule
- Full-time positions available on all shifts: 7-3, 3-11, and 11-7
- May be required to work weekends, holidays, or extended hours (up to 16 hours per day)
- May be required to work shifts other than the one for which hired

- Subject to exposure to infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc., including HIV, AIDS, and Hepatitis B and C viruses
- May encounter hostile or emotionally upset residents due to mental status
- Background, criminal, and drug tests may be required
- May be asked to submit to random drug tests during employment
- May have your picture taken and image used in social media or community advertising
- May be video recorded from devices installed by families in residents’ apartments
