Wellness Associate (Caregiver)

About the role

The Preserve at Dunedin is seeking compassionate and dedicated Wellness Associates / Caregivers / CNAs to join our team. We offer opportunities in both Assisted Living and Memory Care, and we value the overall wellbeing of our residents.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care, assistance, and companionship to residents
• Supports with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility
• Aids with meals and encourages healthy hydration and nutrition
• Fosters meaningful connections that bring comfort and joy to our residents
• Maintains a safe, clean, and welcoming community environment

Requirements

• A caring and patient heart with a strong commitment to serving seniors
• Previous experience as a caregiver, wellness associate, or CNA preferred (training provided)
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Reliability and flexibility to meet the needs of our residents

Qualifications

• Current State Nurse’s Aide registration preferred but not required
• Experience and passion in working with seniors
• Physically able to perform tasks which may be physically demanding
• Able to maintain positive working relationships with Residents, their families, peers, and other staff members
• In good physical and emotional health and free of communicable diseases

Skills

• Effective communication skills
• Ability to follow emergency procedures and safety policies
• Positive attitude and ability to handle emotionally upset Residents

Pay

Hourly pay minimum: $17

Schedule

Full-time positions available across all shifts in Assisted Living and Memory Care.
