Welding Supervisor

About the role

Responsible for overseeing welding operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and managing a team of welders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily welding activities to ensure quality and adherence to safety standards.
• Train and mentor new welders in proper techniques and safety procedures.
• Manage a team of welders, providing guidance and resolving issues as they arise.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained and up-to-date.
• Document work processes and maintain records of safety incidents.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Welding Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of welding supervision experience.
• Valid welding certification.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with quality assurance and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Proficient in using welding equipment and safety gear.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

$75,000 - $85,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
