About the role

Ivy Tech Evansville seeks a part-time Lab Technician to assist in maintaining day-to-day operations of the on‑campus welding lab. Ivy Tech is committed to supporting the well‑being, growth, and financial security of our part‑time employees.

Responsibilities

• Keep metal cut and prepared for classes
• Clean equipment
• Maintain a clean weld lab
• Perform minor maintenance of equipment and power tools
• Some lifting required
• Some knowledge of welding processes is helpful

Requirements

High school diploma or GED. Associate degree and previous lab experience preferred.
