Responsibilities
- Provide classroom and hands-on laboratory instruction in welding processes
- Support student success
- Maintain a safe and effective learning environment
- Assist with program development

Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of welding experience in an industry setting
- Demonstrated proficiency in multiple welding processes (SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, etc.)
- Ability to weld on a variety of materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certificate in Welding Technology
- AWS Certification (preferred but not required)
- Prior teaching or training experience
- AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or Certified Welding Educator (CWE)
Essential Functions
- Deliver instruction in welding processes including SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, and OAW
- Provide hands-on training in lab environments using industry-standard equipment
- Maintain a safe learning environment and ensure compliance with all safety standards
- Support student learning through advising, mentoring, and assessment
- Maintain inventory of equipment, tools, and materials
- Participate in program assessment, curriculum development, and accreditation processes
- Engage with local industry and community partners to support workforce needs
