Welding Instructor
Job Responsibilities
Provides leadership, planning, coordination, and responsibility for assisting in the management and marketing of the Welding Department, including enrollment, student instruction, student advisement, retention, recruitment, and the provision of services to the College and community.
Responsibilities include curriculum and instructional development, as well as assessment functions related to program learning outcomes and student learning outcomes.
The Welding Instructor is required to teach welding applications, including blueprint reading, to students in day, evening, and weekend courses.
Minimum And Additional Requirements
- An associate degree in Welding with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the welding field is required.
- AWS certification and other welding certificates or certifications in pipe welding are preferred.
