Welding/Fabrication Associate - 1st Shift

Key Responsibilities Supply and operate welding systems, plasma cutters and make adjustments as neededLay out, position, and tack-weld parts to secure for weldingPerform preventive maintenance on assigned equipmentMeet established production standardsConduct required quality checks using basic measuring equipmentAccurately report daily activities on work orders and Kanban cards and other media as requiredKeep machine and work areas clean and free of safety hazardsExercise and promote safe working habitsComply with Quality Management SystemMaintain regular attendance Key Skills And Abilities High school diploma or GEDRead and understand blueprints with geometric tolerance.Must pass Hendrickson weld test -2G or be a certified welderBe able to physically lift 65 lbsAbility to safely operate lift equipment, including forkliftMust be able to read and write legibly.Must be able to meet production standards and follow instructions.Good attendance record is requiredRequires strong problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a team environment Hendrickson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
