Now Hiring: Welders
- Multiple Locations: We have several immediate openings for Welders across multiple locations.
- Relocation Assistance: May be available for qualified candidates at select sites.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare Materials: Cut, grind, and clean metals.
- Read and Interpret: Weld blueprints, engineered drawings, and work orders.
- Set Up Equipment: Based on material type, thickness, and position.
- Use Fixtures: Complex weld fixtures and positioners (turntables).
- Inspect Wires: Using calipers, protractors, gauges, and other measurement tools.
- Complete Work: Ensure quality standards, complete work according to manufacturing schedules and standard times.
- Pass Certification Tests: For shop materials.
- Quarterly Samples: Complete quarterly process control samples.
- Document: Maintain accurate logs, check sheets, job orders, and related documentation.
- Follow Safety Guidelines: Wear required personal protective equipment.
- Clean Area: Promote good housekeeping.
- Compliance Training: Complete required compliance training and adhere to all company policies and applicable laws.
What You’ll Bring
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Experience: 1+ years of welding experience.
- Certification: GTAW welding certification (AWS D17.1, PWA 16 in any material group).
- Skills: Read and interpret blueprints and operation sheets, experience using standard bench tools and inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, microscopes), ability to multitask in a manufacturing cell environment, strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Attitude: Have a great attitude and a willingness to learn.
