Responsibilities
- Performs tack welding and finish welding of piping systems utilizing SMAW, FCAW, SAW, GTAW, and GMAW welding procedures.
- Welds small vessels and structural components utilizing SMAW, FCAW, SAW, GTAW, and GMAW welding processes, meeting CCC certified procedures such as ASME, API, AWS, and ANSI codes.
- Back-gouges using carbon-air-arc or plasma for full penetration welds.
- Cleans and polishes welds to company design specifications.
- Performs non-destructive testing of pressure-retaining welds on pipes and vessels.
- Works from drawings/sketches to determine weld size, location, and process.
- Inspects own work to ensure compliance with drawings and procedures, making necessary repairs.
- Affixes incoming parts and final products, completing relevant documentation.
- Operates fork trucks, jib cranes, and overhead cranes.
- Completes ASME code weld log documentation daily.
- Assists in other areas of the plant as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have certification to CCC procedures.
- Ability to weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and various nickel-based alloys.
- Knowledge of ASME, API, AWS, and ANSI codes.
- Experience with SMAW, FCAW, SAW, GTAW, and GMAW welding processes.
- Ability to perform non-destructive testing of pressure-retaining welds.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting welding drawings and sketches.
- Ability to operate fork trucks, jib cranes, and overhead cranes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of related experience in welding or a similar field.
- Valid driver’s license.
Skills
- Welding certification (CCC procedures).
- Knowledge of ASME, API, AWS, and ANSI codes.
- Experience with SMAW, FCAW, SAW, GTAW, and GMAW welding processes.
- Non-destructive testing skills.
- Ability to read and interpret welding drawings and sketches.
- Basic computer skills.

Pay
Competitive salary based on experience.
Schedule
Mondays - Fridays, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, 40 hours/week - Two shift operation.
