Welder/Fabricator (First Shift)

About the role

KRB Machinery is seeking a skilled, full-time Welder/Fabricator to join our team on first shift. This position is a great opportunity to be part of an employee-owned company (ESOP), where your contributions directly support the success of the team.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Weld complex components using MIG and stick welding, including horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Fabricate machine frames, modules, and weld fixtures/jigs for repetitive production.
• Operate hand tools, thermal cutting torches, jacks, electric cranes, forklifts, and straightening presses.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following all safety regulations.
• Be a dependable team player, working with supervisors and colleagues to ensure collective success.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Graduation from a welding program preferred.
• 5+ (five plus) years of related welding/fabrication experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong manual dexterity and ability to work with hands and tools.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as needed.
• Basic math and geometry skills for measurements and layout.
