Welder/Fabricator

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Fabricate metal armatures and mechanical assemblies by using MIG, TIG, and fasteners.
• Prep, position, align, fit and weld materials.
• Set up and operate hand tools.
• Assemble off-the-shelf parts as designed (e.g. bearings, pneumatic cylinders, etc).
• Verify fabricated elements meet design specifications.
• Add additional tasks as assigned.

Education And Experience

• Expertise in the operation of basic metal shop tools - drill press, band and chop saws, grinders, torch, and basic hand tools.
• Machining is a plus.
• Able to pass welding certification tests for mild steel and stainless steel in FCAW-G and TIG (LF Studios to provide certifications).
