The Role

As a Welder Fabricator at McGill, you'll play a critical role in supporting the safe and reliable operation of our mulch and soil processing facility. You'll be responsible for welding, fabricating, repairing, and modifying equipment, machinery, and structural components that keep production running efficiently.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED
• Previous welding and fabrication experience in an industrial, manufacturing, construction, or production environment
• Experience with MIG, TIG, Stick, and Arc welding
• Ability to read drawings, sketches, and specifications
• Experience using fabrication tools, plasma cutters, torches, and power tools
• Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation to the Delray Beach facility
• Strong commitment to safety and quality

What You'll Do

• Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication of steel, aluminum, and other metals
• Repair and modify conveyors, screens, hoppers, bins, and production equipment
• Fabricate parts and structures from concepts, drawings, and specifications
• Operate welding equipment including MIG, TIG, Stick, and Arc welders
• Use plasma cutters, torches, hand tools, and power tools
• Repair and reinforce industrial equipment to minimize downtime
• Aid with machinery installations and facility improvement projects
• Follow all safety procedures, hot-work requirements, and PPE guidelines
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Support maintenance and production teams as needed
