Summary
Lays out, fits, and welds steel fabricated components for all FMH Conveyors products lines.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Calculates the location of various stop, dowel pins, drill bushings, etc.
- Selects the various types and methods of work holding. (Jigs and Fixtures)
- Sets up equipment and welds parts, using mig welder.
- Sets up equipment and welds parts, using tig welder.
- Sets up and operate a cutting torch and hand held plasma cutter.
- Knowledge of fabrication operation procedures, and basic mechanics of fabrication machinery and equipment
- Set up, operate and perform minor maintenance on shear.
- Set up, operate and perform minor maintenance on brake press.
- Set up, operate and perform minor maintenance on mechanical power presses.
- Other duties may be assigned.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts.
- The employee is exposed to fumes or airborne particles and extreme heat.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
