Welder 2 - 3rd shift

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings or schematics to determine appropriate welding processes.
• Position, align, fit and weld parts to form complete units or subunits, following blueprints and layout specifications using jigs, welding torches, and hand tools.
• Prepare and set up equipment and materials for welding operations.
• Lift and position materials using lifting devices such as cranes and forklifts, as needed.
• Ensure quality by utilizing measuring tools and processes to perform inspections before, during, and after production, ensuring materials meet exact specifications.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
• Maintain and organize work areas, performing machine maintenance, and supporting housekeeping and organizational standards, such as 5-S practices.

Pay and Schedule

• Pay for this position is $30.01.
• Hours are Sunday night-Friday morning 10pm-6am with some overtime required.
