About the role
The Welder is responsible for setting up, tack welding, and performing various types of welding on ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
Responsibilities
- Cut, fit, heat, bend, weld repairs, salvage, and rebuild parts as directed.
- Work in all positions using fixtures or improvisation.
- Clean welds and collaborate with team members during assembly of large components.
- Interpret complex drawings, utilize advanced shop mathematics, and follow technical formulas.
Requirements
- Ability to work with different materials and gauges.
- Proficiency in welding techniques.
- Capability to read detailed drawings.
- Adaptability to work in various positions.
- Ability to handle large parts with crane assistance.
Pay
Starting pay of $24.94/hour, increasing to $30.98/hour upon certification.
