Welder - 1st Shift

About the Role

Performs all position welding on an assortment of structures and weldments in accordance with code requirements, alignments, and dimensional specifications. Requires a broad knowledge of welding technology in addition to extensive welding experience, and fulfills ASME section IX welding qualifications. Reports directly to the Production Supervisor, Weld Shop or designate.

Work Environment

• Exposure to high levels of manufacturing and equipment noise.
• Indoor manufacturing environment with temperature changes.
• Exposure to hazardous materials, fumes, airborne particles, and moving mechanical parts with vibration.

Requirements

• Education and Training:
  • Technical Trades School in Welding.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: 1+ years of welding experience.
• Must be willing to work overtime as required.
• Minimal travel may be required.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
