About the role
Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is seeking a Weld Technician - 3rd Shift at the Troy, IL facility. Core hours are Sunday‑Thursday, 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.; overtime may exceed these hours and can be mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.
- Perform quality inspections to ensure weld integrity and product standards.
- Collaborate within a cross‑functional team of skilled welders.
- Operate robotic welders, hand welders, progressive welders, and AutoMig welding equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum of six (6) months’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Candidates must reside within a 50‑mile radius of Troy, IL (
