About the role
The Oshkosh Vocational segment is expanding its operations in the Murfreesboro, Tennessee area. This new facility offers a unique environment with minimal traffic and competitive benefits.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all functional areas produce parts/products meeting customer expectations
- Verify adherence to Standard Work and report nonconformances
- Develop and report on the quality of the process using MDS, QMS, JDE
- Interpret assembly, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic prints and schematics
- Use inspection tools to verify compliance
- Evaluate paint quality and ensure compliance with A-B-C surface method
- Verify compliance with Engineering and Quality Control specifications throughout manufacturing processes
- Inspect welds using appropriate tools and follow calibration procedures
- Partner with supervisor and production team to provide exceptional customer service
- Run basic root cause analysis on quality defects
Requirements
- Six (6) months of applicable position experience or an evaluated equivalent
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read blueprints with GDT Tolerancing
- Experience using Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Experience utilizing basic measuring tools

Pay
Competitive pay based on experience and education, minimum starting rate at $21.32 per hour
Schedule
Monday - Thursday, four 10-hour days 6:00am-4:30pm
