Weld Quality CMM Inspector / Dimensional Inspector

About the role

Join a team driven to make a big impact as a Quality Auditor (Dimensional Inspector) on the Weekend Shift. In this role, you will use a coordinate measurement machine (CMM) to inspect machined and/or welded parts against blueprint requirements for customer shipment. You will also provide auditing support to shop floor operations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machined and welded parts using a coordinate measurement machine (CMM) to ensure compliance with blueprint requirements.
• Provide auditing support to shop floor operations.

Requirements

• Experience with and/or knowledge of basic inspection tools including scales, calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and work to blueprints.
• Ability to support Second and Weekend Shift.

Skills

• Required: Proficiency with basic inspection tools (scales, calipers, micrometers, height gages).
• Preferred:
  • Coordinate measurement machine (CMM) experience.
  • Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) knowledge and experience.
  • Weld inspection knowledge/experience.
  • Faro Arm/Laser Tracker or Keyence experience.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and one year of related working experience.
