Responsibilities
- Start machines, monitor their operation, and record operational data.
- Operate or tend machines to saw, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten metal material.
- Load work pieces into machines.
- Examine and inspect completed work pieces for defects and sort defective pieces accordingly.
- Verify and document dimensions of finished parts for conformance to specifications.
- Avoid unsafe parts or conditions by stopping production if necessary.
- Assist in completing simple to intermediate tasks associated with coil and die changes.
- Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
- Able to work overtime (daily, weekends, and holidays).
- Preferred experience operating large industrial equipment.
- Able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Report to work on time to support production startup.
- Good physical stamina and coordination.
- Able to lift/push/pull objects up to 50 pounds.
- Work as a team, possess good communication skills, and have basic math skills.
- Physical dexterity.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a factory is beneficial but not necessary.
