Weld Operator-1st Shift

Responsibilities

• Start machines, monitor their operation, and record operational data.
• Operate or tend machines to saw, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten metal material.
• Load work pieces into machines.
• Examine and inspect completed work pieces for defects and sort defective pieces accordingly.
• Verify and document dimensions of finished parts for conformance to specifications.
• Avoid unsafe parts or conditions by stopping production if necessary.
• Assist in completing simple to intermediate tasks associated with coil and die changes.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Able to work overtime (daily, weekends, and holidays).
• Preferred experience operating large industrial equipment.
• Able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Report to work on time to support production startup.
• Good physical stamina and coordination.
• Able to lift/push/pull objects up to 50 pounds.
• Work as a team, possess good communication skills, and have basic math skills.
• Physical dexterity.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a factory is beneficial but not necessary.

Schedule

Hours for this position are typically 1st shift from 6:00am-2:00pm.
